Overview
Pre-release documentation. CeilSense Mini has not been officially released yet. The design, specifications and firmware can still change until release. Check ceilsense.nl for the current planning.
Looking for another model? Use the CeilSense V2 or CeilSense Pro documentation for the models with climate sensors and mains power. Have CeilSense V1? Use the CeilSense V1 documentation. The Mini is not a successor of V1: they use different hardware and firmware.
CeilSense Mini is a compact ceiling sensor for Home Assistant that measures presence and light. With mmWave radar it sees whether someone is in the room, even when that person sits still. A light sensor tells you how bright it is, 16 RGB LEDs light up around the device and a built-in buzzer can give a signal.
The Mini is made for places where presence and light are all you need: a hallway, corridor, toilet or utility room, or a bedroom where you only want light automation. It has a new design, shared with the Pro, and you can mount it recessed or on the surface. Hardware Versions shows how it compares to the other models.
