SmartHomeShop App

With cloud firmware, CeilSense can send its readings to the SmartHomeShop app for remote access and history. The app runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Home Assistant is not required for the app.

Planned for CeilSense Mini. Cloud firmware for CeilSense Mini is planned, not published. Until then, CeilSense Mini works locally with Home Assistant.

CeilSense Mini in the App

Once cloud firmware is available, the app offers these features for the Mini:

  • presence and light levels;
  • live values and graphs;
  • email alerts;
  • LED ring control and supported lighting features.

The app can also show CO2, temperature and humidity and offers Climate Comfort, but those need climate readings. The Mini has no climate sensors, so you do not see them for this model.

What You Need

  • a SmartHomeShop account;
  • an internet connection;
  • matching cloud firmware.

Features and history depend on the model, firmware and subscription.

Add the Device

App and Home Assistant Together

Supported firmware lets you use both together. Prefer a fully local setup? Keep local firmware and use the Home Assistant integration.
