SmartHomeShop App

With cloud firmware, CeilSense can send its readings to the SmartHomeShop app for remote access and history. The app runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Home Assistant is not required for the app.

Planned for CeilSense V2. Cloud firmware for CeilSense V2 is planned, not published. Until then, CeilSense V2 works locally with Home Assistant.

CeilSense in the App

For CeilSense devices with cloud firmware, the app offers:

  • CO2, temperature, humidity and presence;
  • live values and graphs;
  • Climate Comfort;
  • email alerts;
  • LED ring control and supported lighting features.

You only see the readings of the modules in your device. Presence needs a radar; CO2, temperature and humidity need the SCD41 module on CeilSense V2.

What You Need

  • a SmartHomeShop account;
  • an internet connection;
  • matching cloud firmware.

Features and history depend on the model, firmware and subscription.

Add the Device

Once cloud firmware is available, add the device from the same network, or use its Cloud Device ID when automatic discovery is not available. The complete SmartHomeShop App guide explains accounts, firmware, devices, history, alerts, subscriptions and privacy.

App and Home Assistant Together

Supported firmware lets you use both together. Prefer a fully local setup? Keep local firmware and use the Home Assistant integration.
