Home Assistant Integration

WallSense connects to Home Assistant through ESPHome. Every sensor, the touch button and the rear LEDs appear as normal entities. You do not need an extra integration for that.

ESPHome

ESPHome devices are discovered automatically. Add WallSense under Settings > Devices & services, see Add to Home Assistant. The entities work with standard Home Assistant cards and in your own automations. Sensor Definitions lists them all.

With local firmware, your data stays on your network.

SmartHomeShop.io Integration

Not yet available for WallSense. WallSense is not yet a product in the SmartHomeShop.io Home Assistant integration. Support is planned.

Planned for WallSense:

• support in the Room Designer, to draw your room and zones;
• WallSense cards.

Until then the integration adds nothing for WallSense. It does not replace the ESPHome entities, and those work without it.
